Looker Studio is a free tool that turns data into informative, easy-to-read, easy-to-share, and fully customizable dashboards and reports.
It's built to unify and visualize data sets from multiple channels.
Last December, Google rebranded “Google Data Studio” to “Looker Studio” after acquiring Looker earlier in February 2021. Looker and Looker Data Studio are both Google tools with a lot in common.
While we previously used Whatagraph, we decided to make the transition for a few key reasons:
Email Marketing Oversight: The lack of integration for email marketing campaigns results in a fragmented view of our digital marketing landscape.
GA4 Synchronization Deficiency: Our efforts to sync with GA4 have been hindered by inconsistencies, leading to unreliable data and reporting.
Inaccurate Meta Reporting: Erroneous reporting on Meta further complicates our data landscape, causing us to question the platform's overall reliability.
Inefficient Use of Time: The extensive time our team spends gathering insights and data is an opportunity lost. This time could be strategically funneled into creating more customized performance reports that align with our clients' specific needs and expectations, enhancing the value we deliver.
Client Dissatisfaction: Clients are not using the reporting because of the issues above
The data that we are now displaying in our Looker Studio dashboards are intended to offer a picture into what channels are working, what’s not, and if you’re on track to meet your goals.
We have also decided to make this transition in order to convey the proper metrics and insights based on your specific business goals.
